At Our Harpenden Clinic Podiatrists Work On The Feet And Also Help With Any Lower Limb Problems, Including Knee & Ankle Pain.

Podiatry

Lindsay Westcott offers a wide variety of Chiropody and Podiatry treatments as an experienced and qualified professional who has worked within the NHS.

She has a broad range of experience in foot care, seeing people suffering anything from athlete's foot and bunions through to sports injuries and ingrowing toenails.

It is a common misconception that podiatrists only work on the feet. They help with any lower limb problems, including knee and ankle pain. Sometimes, a person may be using their limbs incorrectly or have a postural problem that needs correcting.

Lindsay is able to offer help and advice with biomechanics, as well as being qualified to perform cryosurgery and nail surgery. She also offers a full orthotics service, dispensing a specially-designed insole that can help decrease pain, not just within the foot, but also in other areas such as the knees, hips and lower back.

With a client base that ranges from children through to the elderly, Lindsay provides a service that covers problems relating to all age groups, she has a good relationship with all her clients and children are always made to feel welcome.

She has much experience with diabetes-related foot problems and recognises the importance of regular checks.

In 2011 Lindsay won the prestigious Daily Mail RBS Real Hero award for her hard work with Rugby in Hertfordshire.
