Osteopath (M.Ost) and Sports Massage Therapist (Level 3 diploma)

Semira graduated from the University College of Osteopathy (now the Health and Sciences University) in 2024 with a Masters in Osteopathy. From a young age, Semira was a keen athlete and horse rider and discovered that Osteopathy was an effective and holistic way to help with her various injuries.
During her studies Semira obtained a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy and has been practicing for 3 years.
She also has a keen interest in cranial as well as paediatric osteopathy.

Leah Edwards

Leah Edwards

Leah qualified as a chartered physiotherapist with a first class degree from London South Bank University in 2020. Since graduation, she has worked in major london hospitals in a variety of disciplines before specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

She enjoys developing rehabilitation programmes with her patients to achieve whatever goals they may have, from learning to walk unaided after a hip operation to helping amateur athletes bounce back from injury and achieve a PB.

Leah views clients holistically and always takes an individualised approach to her treatment plans, she believes people respond differently and their treatment plan is bespoke to them and their goals.

Leah is also a fully qualified sports massage therapist (ITEC level 3). She uses these hands on techniques to great effect during treatments with this being one of the favourite parts of her job.

In her free time, Leah enjoys walking and running in nature, or can often be found with her head buried in a good book.

Asid Ali

Ali graduated in 2014 with BSc in Sports Therapy and a PGCE in 2018 from the University of Bedfordshire. He taught therapy assessment and technique to university students before moving his practise to private clients. Ali went on to complete his Masters degree in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health from University College London (UCL) in 2022. During this time he gained experience through shadowing consultants and surgeons at the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health (ISEH) to further his studies.

Ali specialises in the assessment and treatment of sports injuries. He is passionate about using soft tissue therapy alongside active rehabilitation to help patients achieve their goals. He uses reformer pilates to help people improve their strength and posture. He is a qualified reformer pilates instructor and has vast experience working with clients from a variety of fitness levels.

Conor Aaron

Conor graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science. During his degree he completed multiple modules in Strength and Conditioning, Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology and focused his final dissertation on Nutrition. He also gained his Personal Training Level 3 (REPS) qualification at this time.

 

Conor is very passionate about helping others achieve their fitness and recovery related goals and has worked with a variety of people from all walks of life. He offers individual and small group personal training alongside online coaching.

 

He has previously worked at PureGym and alongside the England and Wales youth football teams.

Tom Doe

A sports management graduate Tom became a fully qualified personal trainer in 2007, and his passion and professionalism have since enabled him to build up a huge range of clients – from complete newcomers to fitness to high level athletes.

Tom is also a Strength and Conditioning coach and has worked with Arsenal Ladies FC, Team GB footballers and professional boxers. He loves Olympic lifting, high fives and having a boogie.

Marianne Williams

After 15 years in the fitness industry, Marianne began to study Ashtanga yoga before qualifying to teach, having gained her RYS at "It's Yoga" in San Francisco under the tutelage of Larry Schultz in 2005. Ever since then, Marianne has been a big believer in practicing under as many esteemed teachers as possible in order the gain the most well rounded knowledge of yoga. Countless retreats and workshops have not only served to deepen her practice as a student, but also her knowledge as a yoga teacher.

 

In 2016, Marianne gained the prestigious Senior Yoga Teacher qualification having clocked up over 4000 hours teaching. With Marianne you can expect a physically strong, direct class with a hands on approach to alignment and posture correction. Prepare to challenge yourself and test your practice to the sounds of everything from Cafe del Mar to funky house, a nod to her misspent youth.

Susan Reynolds

Susan first discovered Body Control Pilates as a client, in just a few sessions she felt the benefits and came to appreciate the precise and controlled approach that the method uses. The deep postural exercises allow the body to reset and the mind to refresh. In 2018 Susan qualified as a Body Control Pilates Teacher so she could share the advantages of Pilates with others.

Susan has further qualifications in Bone Health and Pilates for Pregnancy and takes regular courses to keep updated eg Back4Good (Pilates for Low Back Pain).

Susan’s classes focus on increasing core strength to protect the spine, the alignment of the body for joint stability and using breath patterns to facilitate the movement.  They offer clients a range of levels to accommodate differing abilities and are taught in a friendly and supportive environment.

Danielle Kempton

Danielle started her career as a professional dancer after attending Bird College of Performing Arts, gaining ISTD teaching qualifications in Ballet and Modern. A few years later followed a complete career change to the LIFFE trading floor in the city and the launching of a new business.
She has recently returned to her love of movement, training with the renowned Body Control Pilates and gaining a level 3 matwork qualification.
Danielles classes are for everyone, whether you are recovering from injury, exercise regularly, or are a beginner, her classes are small and tailored to the specific needs of the clients with a friendly encouraging atmosphere.

Charlotte Murray

Level 3 Award Pre and Postnatal Pilates

Charlotte first came to Pilates postnatally, after discovering she had abdominal separation. Through regular postnatal Pilates practise, Charlotte was able to bring strength and functionality back to her core. Pilates became an essential part of Charlotte’s postnatal rehab and she came away with a newfound interest in human anatomy and biomechanics, feeling compelled to learn more and to bring the many benefits of Pilates to others.

Going on to train in London with Body Control Pilates, the most comprehensive teacher training course of its kind and widely recognised as an international benchmark. She has since gained her Level 3 Award in Pre & Postnatal Pilates and is currently training to become a Low Back Pain Specialist.

There is no need to be super fit or flexible for Charlottes classes; all exercises are tailored to the individual for maximum benefit.
